
In 2022, while expanding the scale, E-top decided to plan a climate simulation laboratory, because the city where E-top is located do not use heating equipment at all, and the min outdoor temperature is generally around 10 °C, so it is very meaningful for us to build an area to simulate the outdoor low temperature and indoor heating environment in Europe, and there are very few thermostat manufacturers with such laboratory in China.
Purpose
Test whether the thermostat has the performance of the thermostat in the actual heating working conditions, temperature control accuracy and temperature control difference meet design expectations.

Principle
The entire perimeter of the laboratory is made of thermal insulation material, and the temperature of the laboratory can be cooling down to -20
°C through the refrigeration equipment (simulating harsh winter), build a suite in the laboratory, the heating system is installed in the room (including: electric floor heating / water floor heating / radiator / fan coil unit), the thermostat is installed on the wall of the room to control the corresponding heating system, relatively real restoration of the actual user's heating conditions in winter.

Data reading and collection The laboratory has been equipped with a data acquisition and control system, which can collect parameters such as laboratory temperature, room temperature, and relay working status through RS485, and all data can be seen on the external computer, providing strong data support for the design.
